As a means to ramp up FY 2021 Support to Barangay Development Project (SBDP) project management quality and efficiency, 𝗗𝗜𝗟𝗚 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗼 𝗱𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗼, through its Project Development and Management Section (PDMS) in coordination with the Provincial Engineering Office (PEO), conducted a three-day Training-Workshop on Contract Management and Construction Supervision (CMCS) for the PEO technical team.
Provincial Director Noel C. Duarte, MSPM officially welcomed the SBDP implementation partners and resource speakers, underscoring the fact that initiatives that bring the government and its services closer to the people, particularly the SBDP, have allowed Davao de Oro to gain significant traction against the 50-year insurgency problem thus sustaining peace in the Province.
PDMS Engineers, Mary May G. Landeza, Harold Ray T. Rosales, Pocholo B. Codilla, and PDMU Engr. Nathaniel I. Socapen provided technical inputs on improving the implementation of infrastructure projects and facilitated the subsequent workshops and discussions.
The P 1.28-billion CY 2021 SBDP allocation was utilized for the 118 projects in the 52 barangays in Davao de Oro.
